Busy Black Box buys another one

Networking products and services marketer Black Box Corp. has announced the latest in its string of acquisitions. The cataloger bought Paris-based Societe d’Installation de Reseaux Informatiques et Electriques (SIRIE), a $4 million provider of premise cabling services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“SIRIE has particularly strong skills in servicing the infrastructure needs of retail and finance clients all over France. Their presence in the Paris area complements well our Network Services office based in Montpellier, southern France, and increases our overall market share of infrastructure services throughout France,” Dominique Pinot, general manager of Black Box France Structured Wiring Services, said in a statement.

SIRIE will change its name to Black Box Network Services–Paris Operations.
