What’s New? Plenty, Say Exhibitors

Among the products and services being unveiled at this year’s Annual Catalog Conference:

AllYourCatalogs.com (booth #1123) will introduce iCatalog, which converts paper catalogs to electronic form.

Banta (booth #504) will demonstrate a new version of its B.media content management system. B.media 2.6 includes automated e-mail notification, automated database population, and full text search of QuarkXPress, PDF, and Microsoft Word documents.

CMS (booth #520) will introduce ZASS, a zip-code-based analytical segmentation system designed to increase the effectiveness of prospect promotions.

Dydacomp (booth #606) will release its newest version of Mail Order Manager. The order processing and fulfillment features of the 4.0 version have been redesigned to better handle large volume operations.

Equifax (booth #1229) will introduce a new feature of its PayNet Secure Suite, an electronic check payment system. The feature allows electronic checks to be accepted on all types of faceless transactions, including online and through the mail, in addition to the more traditional method of electronic payment via the phone.

Experian (booth #304) will demonstrate its upgraded Direct Select database solution. The new version increases the number of variables and reports that marketers can develop while accessing their database from their own PC.

Inceptor (booth #1510) is introducing an update of its Excedia Conversion Marketing Suite with the Real-Time Tracking and Reporting interface. The new version allows marketers to review all of their sales channels and observe in real-time the number and percentage of online visitors converting to customers.

Markets on Demand (booth #425) will launch its CoreBase E-mail Address Append, an online-sourced, 100% opt-in consumer marketing database, available for list enhancement as well as for list rental.

NetByTel (booth #1810) introduces Literature Request Voice Commerce Module, a voice commerce application designed to cut call center costs by using speech recognition to automate routine catalog requests.

Page (booth #1718) will debut its Synaro Marketing Campaign Manager (MCM), an application enabling the targeting, creation, and measurement of marketing campaigns through multiple channels. Written in Java, MCM includes a graphical user interface, campaign generation wizards, segment creation tools, and graphical analysis.

Shop2u (booth #1001) is unveiling version 3.0 of its e-Catalog System, which enables catalogers to use URLs behind images and text that are coded to reflect individual customer characteristics.
