Peoria, IL–As reported in the “Peoria Journal Star” this week, bankrupt horticultural mailer Foster & Gallagher (F&G) has hired Lawrence M. Adelman, a principal of Chicago-based liquidation firm AEG Partners, as its interim chief to oversee the company’s liquidation—at a salary of $21,000 per week. According to the “Journal Star,” F&G also hired New York public relations firm Anderson & Co. on a $50,000 retainer followed by a $10,000 monthly fee. F&G filed for bankruptcy Chapter 11 on July 2.
