Macy’s plans to take over 400,000 square feet of an old Campbell’s Soup plant in Sacramento, using it as a new distribution center and hiring 100 full-time employees.

Procter & Gamble plans to open a new $90 million, 1.8 million square foot distribution center in Union, Ohio, outside Dayton, providing up to 1,400 jobs.

Meijer Inc. plans to add a 500,000 square foot dry goods warehouse across from its distribution center in Delta Township, MI, near Lansing.

FedEx plans to break ground Feb. 19 on a new 305,000 square foot distribution warehouse and truck station in Little Rock, AR. Construction is expected to take a year.

Nike says it’s just months from completing what could be North America’s largest distribution center in Frayser, TN, outside Memphis, which a company official said could hold nearly 200 football fields.

City officials in Tucson, AZ approved a tax exemption for Home Goods to build an $80 million distribution center, which would bring in at least 400 jobs.

Irish apparel retailer Primark plans to move into a new 677,088 square foot warehouse and distribution center in Bethlehem, PA this spring.

ReallyGoodStuff.com, an online retailer of classroom supplies for elementary teachers, will open a distribution center this June in Kansas City, MO. It will distribute products across the United States and Canada and have 44 employees.
