New York–Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSO) has acquired the assets of New York-based wedding registry and retailer The Wedding List, including its Website and retail showrooms in New York, Boston, and London. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition marks MSO’s entry into the wedding-gift registry market. The company plans to leverage its existing “how to” weddings content, including television segments, books, and magazines, with the recent acquisition.
