I may butcher the old saying, but here it goes: You are what you are when no one is looking.
So when you do something stupid at a retail store on Thanksgiving night or Black Friday morning, everyone knows it.
By 8 a.m. EST on Black Friday, at least five acts of shopping violence were reported across the country.
Based on the the one-page website Black Friday Death Count, that puts reported incidents of shopping violence up 500% compared to last year.
Okay, to be fair, only one incident was reported in 2012. But at its current pace, shopping violence should crush the 2011 reported total of 6.
Maybe this guy has it right. Stay home, shop online.
