Nothing really wrong with this catalog. And nothing really exciting. If this catalog had a 1970 date on it, it would simply be one more in a stack. But uh-oh – we’re in 2015-2016, and catalogs have joined the “Grab ‘em while you can grab ‘em” parade.

The heading, “treasure trove,” is followed by the subhead “Find new looks inspired for an appreciation of the past.” If your job might have been to create a heading and subhead for costume jewelry based on tradition, would you have just tossed out nonproductive words?
