Hanover Receives Delisting Notice

The American Stock Exchange has notified Edgewater, NJ-based multititle cataloger Hanover Direct that the mailer may be delisted if it does not comply with quarterly report filing requirements by Dec. 31. Hanover, whose titles include The Company Store, Domestications, and Silhouettes, has yet to file it a report for the quarter ending Sept. 25.

An audit committee for Hanover's board of directors and independent outside counsel are reviewing accounting-related matters. Hanover expects to be able to file a preliminary report no earlier than mid January. If the American Stock Exchange decides to begin delisting proceedings, Hanover could appeal the decision.
