Catalogs Fuel 3Q Sales at Jos. A. Bank

A 26% rise in catalog and Internet sales carried men's apparel cataloger/retailer Jos. A. Bank Clothiers (NasdaqNM: JOSB) to double-digit third-quarter gains on both sides of the ledger.  For the three months ended Nov. 1, the Hampstead, MD-based marketer reported net income of $2.9 million, up 53% from $1.9 million a year ago. Total third-quarter net sales increased 24%, to $72.0 million from $57.9 million last year. Comparable-store sales increased 9%.
