Collegiate Pacific to Acquire Tomark

Dallas-based Collegiate Pacific, a cataloger of sporting equipment to schools and teams, has signed a letter of intent to acquire Corona, CA-based sports equipment manufacturer/distributor Tomark. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in January, were not disclosed.

Collegiate plans to expand Tomark's national presence, as well as its product line with the infusion of Collegiate Pacific's 3,200 products. Tomark has a customer base of approximately 40,000, while Collegiate Pacific has about 35,000 customers.
