Panache Assets Sold at Auction

The intellectual property of the Libertyville, IL-based home decor and entertaining cataloger Panache has been purchased at an auction for $20,000 by American Pacific. 

According to San Francisco-based catalog consultant John Lenser, who managed Panache’s list, the last Panache catalog mailed in the fall 2002. At its height two years ago, the cataloger’s sales reached $11 million. Before the auction, Panache’s list had been put on the market on a nonrestrictive/nonexclusive basis.
