1-800-Flowers.com Customers Can Now Order on Google Assistant

1-800-Flowers.com announced that customers can order floral gifts, and select gourmet food offerings, directly through Google Assistant. A  menu of gifting categories allows on-the-go customers to select gifts and place orders, for delivery nationwide, using the Google Assistant on eligible Android phones and iPhones. Shoppers can specify same-day delivery or schedule gift arrival on a future celebratory date. 1-800-Flowers.com is among the first retail brands to adopt the transaction feature.

The Google Assistant joins other recent technology initiatives by 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. designed to enhance the customer experience, including the company’s first online gift concierge, GWYN (Gifts When You Need) powered by IBM Watson, floral gift ordering capabilities using conversational chatbot on Facebook Messenger, and voice-enabled Skill on Amazon Alexa.
