Her company’s annual mystery shopping and merchant surveys provide a comprehensive overview of cross-channel commerce, setting industry standards and highlighting best practices. Freedman founded the e-Tailing group in 1993 after an extensive career as a buyer/merchandiser, evolving her company into a leading e-commerce consultancy that advises retailers on merchandising, strategy and customer experience best practices while also developing thought leadership and go-to-market strategies for top technology companies.

Scot Wingo, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, ChannelAdvisor

Scot is an industry thought leader, contributing regularly to several ChannelAdvisor blogs and speaking often at industry events. Scot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. Scot has received numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Triangle Business Journal’s Businessperson of the Year.

Stephan Spencer, Co-Author, “The Art of SEO”

stephan spencerStephan Spencer is co-author of The Art of SEO: Mastering Search Engine Optimization and author of Google Power Search: The Essential Guide to Finding Anything Online with Google, both published by O’Reilly. Stephan founded the interactive agency Netconcepts in 1995 and sold it to San Diego-based agency Covario in 2010. Stephan is the inventor of the automated pay-for-performance SEO (search engine optimization) technology platform GravityStream.

Carl Miller, Founder and Managing Director, Global Retail Insights Network (GRIN)

Carl Miller Carl Miller is the Founder and Managing Director of the Global Retail Insights Network (GRIN), the principal not-for-profit global community for ecommerce professionals. Carl, the EVP of Global Strategy at GoInterpay, founded the GRIN to help cross border retailers lead and innovate through knowledge and collaboration. He previously led the retail practice at GlobalCollect (an Ingenico company), where he worked with top retailers, helping them develop global ecommerce strategies.

Ian MacDonald, Director of eCommmerce, Silver Star Brands

Ian helped launch and grow to profitability a new party supplies business unit within USMattress.com. Previous to that he had a short stint at a cataloger. Ian spent the previous 10 year transitioning CenturyNovelty from a struggling bricks-and-mortar into a profitable and growing etailer (also of the party supplies variety).

Jeremy Liebowitz, Vice President, Global Ecommerce, Newell Rubbermaid

liebowitz jeremyAs vice president of global ecommerce at Newell Rubbermaid, Jeremy Liebowitz is leading major organizational design changes to reshape the company’s ecommerce delivery structure, improving results in the process. To support this effort, in 2015 he spearheaded the launch of Newell Rubbermaid’s first New York City-based office devoted entirely to ecommerce, hiring world-class talent to serve the needs of retailers. Prior to Newell Rubbermaid, Jeremy was vice president of digital commerce and marketing at Jarden. He also held customer marketing and ecommerce management positions at fortune 500 and start-up companies, including Limited Brands and 1-800-Flowers.com.
