How Did Shopping Carts Fare on Cyber Monday?

add-to-cart-tablet-300Actually, shopping carts for the National Retail Federation’s Favorite 50 of 2013 fared pretty well, according to Cyber Monday shopping study conducted by UserTesting.com.

The 100 testers – 46 males and 54 females – gave these ecommerce sites an average score of 4.18 out of 5 for ease of checking out.

While shipping costs (21%) and registration (20%) were the features that users said needed the most improvement respectively, the users felt very comfortable purchasing from those ecommerce sites on Cyber Monday 2013.

The highest rated statement was “I feel comfortable purchasing from the website” with an average score of 4.41 (out of 5). What’s more, the likeliness that a user would actually leave the site based on the feature they said needed most improvement leaned toward unlikely with a rating of 3.5 (1=Very Likely, 5=Highly Unlikely).
