Is Showrooming as Bad as Retailers Think?

A new study by Deloitte Digital found that showrooming may not be as bad as retailers think.  The Deloitte study reveals that connected shoppers actually convert at a 40% higher rate than people not consulting devices in store, and 22% of connected shoppers spend more as a result.

While this is good news for bricks-and-mortar retailers as a whole, it may present a problem for those retailers that have yet to integrate a digital strategy into the store experience.
