Johnson is responsible for customer and prospect modeling, online and offline customer acquisition, and overall contact strategy. Johnson also directs circulation management of Crutchfield's award-winning catalogs.
Johnson joins Crutchfield after an 8-year career at Abacus. Prior to his tenure at Abacus, Johnson spent several years at Leo J. Shapiro and Associates, a premier Market Research company in Chicago, where he frequently conducted customer focus groups, deriving valuable direct insight into customer desires and behaviors.

Paul Imbierowicz
Vice President, Market Strategy
Abacus
Paul Imbierowicz is the Vice President of Market Strategy at Abacus and is responsible for analyzing and understanding the needs of multi-channel merchants and developing service and product strategies to address the evolving requirements of the market.
Imbierowicz joined Abacus in 1997 as Vice President for Abacus Direct Retail Services. In that role, he managed the development of the modeling techniques and analytical capabilities to support specific retail target marketing strategies designed to measurably increase members' sales and profits. He was then Vice President of Product Management where he was responsible for the development and management of Abacus products, including ChannelView®, the Abacus Alliances and Abacus’ Data Management Solutions.
From 1988 to 1997, Imbierowicz served in various marketing and circulation capacities at The Orvis Co., Inc., most recently as Director of Marketing. His responsibilities included database management, new customer acquisition, print and paper negotiation and procurement, circulation strategy, and spin-off development. He also held P&L responsibilities for the company's U.K. division. Prior to that, he served as Marketing Circulation Manager for Gardener's Supply Company.
Imbierowicz earned a B.S. in Marketing from Keene State College, New Hampshire.
