Adam & Eve hit the airwaves

Few print catalogers advertise via TV commercials. Nor do many marketers of adult-entertainment products. Nonetheless, Adam & Eve, a cataloger of adult merchandise, debuted a television ad this week. The 30-second spot is airing between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. on the E!, USA, and Comedy Central cable networks.

The commercial “is already opening new doors for us,” said Rosanne Liccardi, director of new media for the Hillsborough, NC-based mailer. “We promise quality and privacy, and that’s what people want. The first night we aired on E! we doubled the number of catalog requests.”
