How big a brand is co-op database Abacus? Big enough that parent firm Epsilon, which acquired Abacus in December, is rebranding most of its data products and services under the Abacus name.

For example, Epsilon’s Advantage Choice becomes Abacus Consumer, a composite database of more than 250 million consumers. In the Aug. 21 announcement, Epsilon also said its New Mover is now Abacus New Mover, and Epsilon’s Target Source is now Abacus Survey, serving most vertical market industries in the U.S.

As far as Abacus products go, Abacus Consumer Alliance becomes Abacus Consumer Cooperative, and Abacus Business to Business Alliance becomes Abacus Business to Business Cooperative. And the Abacus [ONE], Abacus FastPath, Abacus Market Insight, Abacus BuyerPoint, and Abacus ChannelView services remain unchanged.
