David McCreight was promoted to president of Lands' End. He'd been serving as interim president since Mindy Meads left the apparel and home goods merchant in August. Lands' End parent company Sears Holdings also hired Maureen McGuire for the newly created position of executive vice president/chief marketing officer for Sears and Corwin Yulinsky as executive vice president for customer strategy and insight.

Fort Worth, TX-based Allied Electronics has promoted Rob Birse from director of marketing to vice president of marketing.

Two executives at the Direct Marketing Association have received new titles. Lou Mastria, formerly vice president of public and media relations, is now vice president of interactive and emerging media. And Alan Kuritsky, formerly vice president of marketing and member communications, is now vice president of marketing and communications/chief marketing officer.
