How would you describe your job and what you do?
I consult with multichannel merchants. I am also a college teacher part time.

Why do you think you were chosen to be an MCM Awards judge?
My experience using multiple channels to sell a wide range of B2B and B2C products and services makes me a great judge. I know what worked for me and my associates in the past. I am easily able to use my right and left brain, be strategic and tactical. I am extremely skilled in multichannel metrics and database segmentation, both of which I consider essential today.

What direct marketing subject could you talk about all day?
The power of the customer, as expressed in data and databases to drive ROI, how to interpret and act on metrics.

What excites you most outside the office?
I love to teach college and have many hobbies, like aerobics. I love the ocean and travel. I love my cats and dogs and volunteering to help homeless animals.

What was your first job?
Tim, I can match that one! When I was a student at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC, one of my many part time jobs was serving ice cream in a small campus shop, the Scuttlebutt.

In high school, I played a lot of sports and was valedictorian. I wasn’t very good at the sports, but I loved them!
