Chico’s, a women’s apparel cataloger/retailer based in Fort Myers, FL, has hired Michele Delahunty Cloutier as executive vice president/general merchandising manager, Chico’s Brand. Cloutier, who will be responsible for overseeing and directing all merchandising activities for the company’s flagship brand, was most recently a consultant. She had previously served as senior vice president/general merchandising manager at Ann Taylor Stores.

Millay accepted an appointment as senior executive vice president/chief financial officer of Discovery Communications, the parent company of the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel (TLC), and Animal Planet, among other TV channels.
