Reagan’s Museum Store Flooded with Calls

Devotees of former president Ronald Reagan, who died June 5 after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s disease, are snatching up everything “Dutch.” According to a note posted on the Website for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation Museum Store, which also mails a catalog, response has been overwhelming.

“Due to increased volume on our Website, we cannot ship items via express, next day air, priority, or second day air,” the note read as of June 9. “Packages will be delivered via UPS ground services as soon as possible.” In fact, telephone lines were so clogged that CATALOG AGE couldn’t get through for a comment. Callers were instructed to order through its Website.

The Museum Store sells books, memorabilia and “ReaganWear” such as Stetson hats, scarves and “country casual” apparel.
