In an effort to help retailers address the same-day delivery challenge and meet the consumer’s expectations and demands for a more immediate service, Deliv, a same-day delivery service for omnichannel retailers has joined IBM’s Ready for Smarter Commerce partner program, according to a press release.
The partnership allows all of IBM’s omnichannel retail clients across North America to offer Deliv’s same-day delivery service from its own store networks.
Joining IBM’s partner program and using the integration developed as part of the program, Deliv will enable IBM retail clients to quickly add same-day delivery as an option for any channel including online, mobile, call center or in-store checkout.
With the fulfillment capabilities from IBM’s Smarter Commerce Solutions and Deliv’s delivery network and route optimization, retailers can optimize their delivery efficiency and tackle the same-day delivery challenge.
Clients such as Williams-Sonoma and 1-800-Flowers are two examples of companies working with Deliv and IBM to deploy Deliv same-day delivery services.
