Ashford.com Spins Off Art Division

Houston–Online luxury gifts cataloger Ashford.com has spun off its art division, cataloger Guild.com, as an independent company. After the spin-off, effective July 31, Ashford.com and Guild.com will become strategic partners, sharing revenue from Guild.com art sales on Ashford.com and cooperating on marketing activities. Each company will retain the assets it gained when Ashford.com acquired Guild.com in January. Ashford will retain a minority equity interest in Guild.com, while Guild.com shareholders will continue to hold Ashford.com stock.
