Bluefly Cuts Staff, Expects Profit

New York–Online apparel and home decor cataloger Bluefly will cut 32 jobs, or 34% of its workforce, in an effort to achieve profitability by the fourth quarter of 2002. Bluefly, which sells discounted designer products, also said it will take a pretax charge of about $600,000 in connection with the cutbacks.
