Canton, MA–Men’s apparel cataloger/retailer Casual Male has filed to reorganize under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. In its filings, which were made in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the company reported total assets of approximately $299 million and total liabilities of approximately $244 million as of Feb. 3. In a statement, the company says it expects to have the necessary financing to continue operations while it restructures. The company’s catalog titles include Big & Tall.
