Computer reseller CDW (Nasdaq: CDWC) registered a solid second quarter. For the three months ended June 30, the Vernon Hills, IL-based merchant’s total sales reached $2.03 billion, an increase of 24.4% over the $1.63 billion for the same period last year. Net income rose 9.5%, to $80.1 million up from $73.1 million. CDW’s direct Web sales soared 19.3%, to $588.9 million up from $493.5 million.
