Chinese Laundry’s Omnichannel Integration with Celerant Technology Leads to 20 Percent Drop in Canceled Orders

CHICAGO–()–Renowned shoe brand Chinese Laundry announced today that a channel integration and inventory optimization initiative the company embarked upon with partner Celerant Technology has resulted in a 20 percent drop in canceled orders. The announcement was made on the floor of the Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE) at Chicago’s McCormick Place. IRCE will see over 10,000 attendees including the industry’s most elite online retailers.

Powered by Celerant Technology’s Command Retail platform with integrated e-commerce, every merchandise order and fulfillment is immediately reflected in the system’s inventory management database, giving store managers real-time visibility into available stock.

Earlier this year, Chinese Laundry reported that the launch of new e-commerce and m-commerce sites resulted in a 31% increase in electronic conversions, 54% increase in mobile commerce sales, 50% more productive search pages, and 18% boost to page load times. Omnichannel integration has enabled the company to effectively fill its rapidly expanding online orders while simultaneously improving internal control and generating meaningful reports on the performance of its product lines and SKUs.
