Cobranded Staples-Medical Arts book on the way

To further maximize synergies, Framingham, MA-based office superstore Staples will mail a cobranded Medical Arts Press catalog in December or January. In a conference call to investors on Nov. 19, Staples president/CEO Ronald Sargent said that the book will mail to 300,000 Medical Arts Press customers who are not catalog customers of Staples or its Quill Corp. division. Staples bought the Brooklyn, MN-based Medical Arts Press in July for $385 million. The company’s titles sell stationery and promotional items for medical professionals.
