Allentown, PA–Giftware cataloger/wholesaler Ebeling & Reuss was sold to Strathmore Corp. of Pennsylvania on April 15. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ebeling & Reuss, which was established in 1886, is a giftware importer and distributors. Along with a national sales force of 100, Ebeling & Reuss sells via a catalog to other marketers and independent gift distributors. Strathmore Corp. president Graham Mudie says the acquisition of means new product lines for Ebeling & Reuss, namely crystal, silverware, and home décor items, which will be featured in its May catalog drop.
