Figi’s Launches B-to-B Catalog, Website

Figi’s is going corporate. In late August, the Marshfield, WI-based food cataloger launched Figi’s Business Services, which is producing Figi’s first business-to-business catalog and Website. The corporate gifts catalog and site (www.fbsgifts.com) sells Figi’s signature food gifts, such as cheeses, sausages, chocolates, and snacks, packaged so that they’re suitable for corporate gift-giving. The b-to-b items can be personalized and customized.

“Our customers have been requesting gift customization and personalization, including options for adding logos and company names,” Figi’s vice president Craig Steinkraus said in a statement, “so we put together an extensive offering of food gifts featuring the customization and personalization they asked for.” Figi’s Business Services also offers volume discounts and “five-day express service” of certain personalized items.

Steinkraus won’t reveal the size of the initial August mailing. While the company plans for additional mailings of the business book, “nothing’s definite now,” he says.

The 54-year-old Figi’s is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tucson, AZ-based multititle cataloger Crosstown Traders, which also mails the Old Pueblo Traders, Bedford Fair, Willow Ridge, Coward Shoes, Lew Magram, Brownstone Studios, Regalia, and Intimate Appeal apparel and accessories catalogs.
