How would you describe your job and what you do?
I am responsible for corporate management, List Management, Consulting and new business development

Why do you think you were chosen to be an MCM Awards judge?
I’ve been a mailer at 3 companies (which I co-founded), and have made many errors–once! I think they key is knowing what works and what doesn’t, based on experience, and what is quality creative and what is not.

What direct marketing subject could you talk about all day?
The key role of planning, and being able to execute the plan.

What excites you most outside the office?
Trout fishing, striped bass fishing, travels with my wife and business partner to Australia and exotic locales, collecting and enjoying wine.

What was your first job?
I sold Aussie Rules Football programs for 5 cents each from a street corner in Mildura, Australia.

In high school, I was:
Head Prefect, a bookworm, an cricketer and diver and Aussie Rules Football player who was far too small to play the game without being injured every match.
