The Grooming Network Acquires Vintage Blades

The Grooming Network (TGN) has acquired Vintage Blades, LLC, a veteran re-seller in the online straight razor and wet shaving industry. This adds yet another ecommerce website to The Grooming Network’s portfolio of shaving and personal care businesses.

Jim Ayers founded Vintage Blades, LLC in 2005. Mr Ayers’ passion for straight razor shaving led to a successful career in his online grooming business. Along with providing a broad selection of luxury personal care products, Mr. Ayers became a pioneer in the resurgence of traditional wet shaving.

VintageBlades, LLC can now leverage the team of professionals at The Grooming Network to provide management, marketing, fulfillment and access to the finest American honemeisters. Not only will the website now be serviced by TGN’s fulfillment center, tech professionals and customer service department, but the site will get a boost in traffic thanks to TGN’s CEO, Luke Webster. Mr. Webster is considered an expert in search engine marketing and optimization with a long and diverse background in e-commerce.

TGN is on a path to consolidate the Men’s Luxury Grooming and Wet Shaving industry. “The acquisition just made sense,” Luke Webster stated, “Vintage Blades is a well-known site in the industry and has several important supplier contracts that will help The Grooming Network continue growing.”

“It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Ayers and we look forward to taking great care of his current and future customers and suppliers.”
