In a “Milwaukee Journal” report, Lands’ End spokesperson Emily Leuthner hinted at possible layoffs once Sears, Roebuck & Co. completed its acquisition of the cataloger. “The only thing to consider is that, in the long term, when consolidating the two companies, some administrative jobs may be lost,” she said. Lands’ End employs 7,100 people, all but 5% of whom work in its headquarters in Dodgeville, WI.
