MCM Call for 2010 Entries Extended to Feb. 1

Are you ready to be recognized? It’s time to enter your catalogs and Websites in the MCM Awards!

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the competition, we’ve made significant improvements to the program, including a new digital entry process, revamped categories to level the playing field, enhanced evaluation feedback from the judges, and much more.

Gold and Silver winners are presented in Print and Web categories, including:

Winners are selected by a panel of industry experts who carefully judge each entry on home page/catalog cover, copy, design and production, merchandising, customer service and ordering, and site navigation/usability. The winning catalogs will be featured in the September 2010 issue of Multichannel Merchant.

The deadline for entries has been extended to Feb. 1. The fee is $295 per individual entry, except for residents of exempt states – please see the official rules.

A print entry form and fee is required for each catalog entered; a Web entry form and fee is required for every Website entered.

New this year: There is a limit to the number of entries. Merchant companies cannot enter more than four catalogs, and no more than one per category, whether the submission is by the merchant or a supplier. The same issue of a catalog cannot be entered in more than one category (For example, the July 2009 edition cannot be entered both in Children’s Products and Apparel, Sales Over $20 million).

Merchant companies can only enter a URL in one category, and no more than four URLs, and no more than one per category, whether the submission is by the merchant or a supplier. Companies with one distinct brand can enter no more than four titles, but companies with several distinct brands can enter up to four entries for each distinct brand.

Have questions or concerns about entering? See the frequently-asked questions about the competition. And for more information, please contact MCM Awards director Tim Parry at or 203-358-4161.

Don’t miss out on the recognition you deserve – this could be your year to win!
