Men’s Wearhouse Fires Executive Chairman Zimmer

While George Zimmer was able to guarantee the likeability of the suits at Men’s Wearhouse, he wasn’t able to guarantee his job as the Executive Chairman. The retailer announced his termination this week.

Zimmer, who was the face of Men’s Wearhouse and responsible for the commercial catchphrase “You’re going to like the way you look, I guarantee it,” opened the first brick-and-mortar store in 1973.
