Nampa, ID–Micron Electronics on June 1 sold off its PC catalog unit, MicronPC, to Gores Technology Group, CATALOG AGE has learned. Micron Electronics is the parent firm of HostPro, a provider of infrastructure, Website, and hosted software applications to small and midsize businesses. By selling off MicronPC, Micron Electronics has exited the catalog business.
On the other hand, MicronPC continues to sell by catalog and on the Internet, with a greater emphasis on Web sales than it has had in the past.
