Apparently a Corvette is not a Corvette is not a Corvette. And so Mid America Designs is launching three distinct catalogs of aftermarket parts for Corvettes. The marketer used to have just one catalog, Everything Corvette, for Corvette enthusiasts.
The three catalogs—Vintage Designs, for 1953-82 Corvettes; C4 Designs, for 1984-96 models; and C5 Designs, for 1997-2002 models—are mailing Feb. 14. The merchandise mix of each book is tailored specifically for the cars of those years. For instance, the Vintage Designs book offers more restoration items, while the C5 Designs catalog sells more performance-enhancement equipment. Effingham, IL-based Mid America’s other titles include The Real Source, which sells VW Beetle-related merchandise, and Tweeks, which sells parts and accessories for Porsches.
