Delray Beach, FL-based office supplies marketer Office Depot promoted Charles Brown from chief financial officer to president, international. Monica Luechtefeld was promoted to vice president, business development and information technology; she was previously an executive within the company’s e-commerce division. Tim Toews was promoted from chief information officer in Europe to senior vice president/chief information officer.

Topsfield, MA-based wholesale pet supplies cataloger PetEdge appointed Steve Miller circulation manager. He will be responsible for planning the company’s customer contact and acquisition strategies, catalog analysis and forecasting, as well as its list rental and package enclosure programs.

Patrick Donahoe was named deputy postmaster general of the U.S. Postal Service, where he will serve as a member of the board of governors and oversee mail processing, transportation and delivery, field operations, engineering, delivery and retail, facilities, and network operations. He was previously USPS senior vice president of operations.

San Francisco-based gifts merchant RedEnvelope appointed Joseph Gandolfo to its board of directors. Gandolfo was most recently president of worldwide operations for Mattel. The company also announced the resignation of chief financial officer Eric Wong. Polly Boe, previously chief financial officer of Sundance Catalog Co., was hired to take his place.

Cleveland-based cataloger/retailer Things Remembered promoted Dave Stefko from vice president, chief administrative officer to senior vice president, chief administrative officer. Terry Mulhern was promoted from director of external marketing to vice president, marketing. Alice Guiney was promoted from senior director, human resources to vice president, human resources.

Peterborough, NH-based list services firm Millard Group promoted Jeanne Bennett from assistant account manager to account manager, list brokerage.

White Plains, NY-based list services firm MeritDirect has appointed Thomas Connors controller. Connors was previously an executive at DataLan Corp.
