Our 2004 Model

In the magazine business, conventional wisdom has it that a redesign should take place every three to five years. Do it more often, and readers get confused; do it less often, and they get bored.

Too bad conventional wisdom doesn’t cut it any more. We’ve all learned that you change your business when you need to. Just as operations are becoming nimble, agile, and capable of making radical shifts at the drop of a hat, so are we adapting our structure to meet the evolving demands of our readers. Beginning with this issue, we’ve tweaked our year-old redesign. Short how-to modules bring you information on a wider range of operational issues. New sections deal with technology advances and solutions to real-life problems in the fulfillment center. This year, you can choose to receive information in a variety of formats, from our print magazine to Webinars to our popular e-mail newsletter, the O+F Weekly Update. And perhaps best of all, we’ve introduced a forum for you to voice your opinions, comments, and suggestions. Please keep our “Mailbox” full! We want to hear from you.
