IT products and services merchant PC Connection has promoted Timothy McGrath to president/chief operating officer. McGrath, who joined the marketer in 2005 as executive vice president of PC Connection Enterprises, reports to Patricia Gallup, chairman/CEO.
The presidents of the company’s subsidiaries will report to McGrath. The subsidiary companies include PC Connection Sales Corp., the original business of PC Connection, which serves the small- and medium-sized business sector; MoreDirect, which specializes Web-based e-procurement system and IT supply-chain expertise; GovConnection, a provider of IT products and services to federal, state, and local government agencies and educational institutions; and PC Connection Express, which sells computer products and consumer electronics to home, home- and small-office users.
Merrimack, NH-based PC Connection is currently no. 19 on the MCM 100. The company did $1.8 billion in sales in 2008.
