Pottery Barn Goes Big With New Atlanta Store

Home decor and furnishings cataloger/retailer Pottery Barn plans to open its largest store in the U.S. in Atlanta later this month. How big is it? The bilevel location boasts a whopping 33,000 sq. ft.

That’s a lot of room to sell sofas, sconces, side tables, and the like. In fact, the sizeable new store will enable Pottery Barn to carry some products that were previously available only through its catalog or Website.

Pottery Barn, part of the San Francisco-based Williams-Sonoma stable of catalogs, operates with 200 stores in North America. The supersize Atlanta store is scheduled to open July 19 at the Lenox Square mall in the city’s Buckhead section.
