Chicago-based printing and delivery services provider R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Wells, ME-based printer Spencer Press. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter. In addition to catalogs, Spencer Press prints press-pasted booklets, freestanding inserts, and self-mailers.
