Taylor Gifts surprised by spin-off’s success

The inaugural edition of Taylor Gift’s Kitchen & Much More catalog performed so well, the company is increasing circulation 43%. Response to the title, which launched in December, was “double-digits better than we projected,” says catalog manager Carollynn Chisena.

The catalog, which as the title indicates sells cookware and other household products, mailed to approximately 3 million of the best names from the Taylor Gifts house file and prospects. In addition to the flagship gifts and home products title, Paoli, PA-based Taylor Gifts mails Get Organized, a catalog of organizational and storage products.

Kitchen & Much More uses several promotions to entice customers, such as a free gift for orders of at least $35. The average order size id $60. The next edition is scheduled to mail in August.
