Title Nine’s Park is CeCNC’s Marketer of the Year

The Catalog & Ecommerce Club of Northern California (CeCNC) has named Missy Park, the owner/founder of women’s athletic apparel merchant Title Nine, its Marketer of the Year 2009.

Park founded the company as a catalog in 1989 at age 26 after quitting her job at The North Face. Title Nine is named for the 1972 legislation that prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.

The company today includes the catalog, 15 stores and a Website. Most of Title Nine’s sales now come through the e-commerce and retail channels.

The CeCNC, which was established in August 1987 by Bay Area catalog marketing professionals, will honor Park’s contributions to the multichannel retail industry on April 22 at the Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco. For more information, visit www.cecnc.com.
