The Yankee Candle Company Selects Vendor for Omnichannel Retailing and Singular Commerce

Aptos, Inc. announced The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. has selected Aptos retail solutions in the cloud to help the retailer streamline, optimize and integrate its omnichannel retail operations, and to support new means of engaging with Yankee Candle’s customers.

Headquartered in South Deerfield, Mass., The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. is a leading designer, manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of premium scented candles. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Newell Brands and sells its products through a North American wholesale customer network of approximately 35,000 store locations, a growing base of more than 500 company owned and operated retail stores, direct mail catalogs, its Internet website, and an international wholesale customer network.

To modernize its retail technology and support future growth, The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. sought a retailing solution that offered strong retail point of sale, CRM, order management, sales audit, and loss prevention functionality.

The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. will leverage Aptos solutions in the cloud including: Aptos Store (for Point of Sale), Aptos Sales AuditAptos CRM, Aptos Loss Prevention and Aptos Enterprise Order Management. All Aptos solutions will be deployed in the cloud, providing the retailer with scalability, reduced risk, improved speed-to-value, and the ability to free up information technology resources to focus on additional growth and innovation projects.

These Aptos retail solutions will enable The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. to better engage customers with personalized, efficient and empowered interactions, to integrate store operations and support improved decision making through audit activities and analytics. The retailer will also be able to identify, profile, segment, engage, motivate and reward each customer by creating personalized, consistent customer experiences across channels that drive visits, sales, enhance loyalty and nurture campaign effectiveness. With Aptos Loss Prevention, Yankee Candle will be able to analyze a central database of store-level transactions to automatically detect patterns of fraudulent activities. Aptos Enterprise Order Management will additionally enable the company to profitably manage all orders throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to fulfillment and back.
