A Multichannel Merchant staffer placed an order with the VillageShoes.com Website on Dec. 18 at about 3:15 p.m. She had never ordered from the company before but took her chances for holiday delivery with the company's offer of free standard delivery. She received a confirmation e-mail immediately after placing the order, then at 5:27 p.m. that evening received another e-mail that the order had been shipped. The order arrived at the staffer's home the next day before 3 p.m.!
