black-friday The CFI Group 2013 Holiday Retail Spending Report suggests consumers are placing less emphasis on the Black Friday and are starting their holiday shopping earlier in the season. Forty-five percent of consumers reported they would begin before November and 61% indicated they’d finish their shopping completely by early December. According to Deloitte’s  survey annual survey of holiday spending intentions and trends, 25% of consumers plan to shop on Black Friday. However, 45% indicate that Black Friday isn’t as important as it used to be. More Black Friday shoppers may stay home and shop for deals online this year, according to a survey of 500 U.S. consumers conducted in September by Accenture.
