Outsourcing Customer Service Abroad Can Cut Costs

New York–Companies can save a fair amount of money if they outsource their customer service abroad, according to a recent report from research firm Jupiter Media Metrix. According to the report, companies that outsource customer service operations to offshore contact centers will save up to 30% over the costs of handling the functions in-house. The study concluded that companies with contact center operations of at least 200 seats can save nearly $4 million annually by outsourcing to contact centers abroad.
