Computer reseller PC Connection (Nasdaq: PCCC) expects second-quarter sales of $290 million-$300 million. What’s more, the Merrimack, NH-based cataloger expects operating results, before special charges, in the range of breakeven to a loss of $.03 per share. PC Connection will report second quarter results during the week of July 15.

Breaking it down by segment, PC Connection expects sales to small and midsize businesses to decline 7% from the first quarter of 2002, while government and education sales are expected to increase 27%. Sales and operating results for MoreDirect, which was acquired on April 5, are projected to be in line with previous company expectations.
